Daniel has a vast background of influences from singers like Enrico Caruso, Beniamino Gigli, Jussi Bjorling, Alfredo Krauss, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti. His earlier influences were Daryl Hall, Prince, The Police, Beatles, Squeeze, Bruce Springsteen and not forgetting the vocal standards of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mel Torme, and today’s Josh Groban.
Daniel faced many challenges beginning when his mother gained political asylum to the United States from Cuba. The cha
llenges and heartaches were real, having a tremendous affect on Daniel’s growth as a young man and musician. Daniel began writing music by the age of six years old, composing lyrics only an adult would have experienced. The years continued wearing him down, facing life challenges that nearly left him leaving music and silencing his voice forever.
